I think the biggest problem with the 32x is that it wasn't supported. The Saturn was coming out soon, Sega of Japan really didn't want anything to do with the 32x. But everything I've heard it sounds like it was an American idea to prolong the life of the Genesis, the Genesis didn't do that well in Japan. The Saturn was huge, but the Genesis was only so-so. It was in America and Europe that the Genesis was so popular. So this was just a rushed way to prolong it and make it compete a little longer than it should have. It sucks because it does have a few nicet games and could have been pretty awesome...as its own system. There was no point in making this an add-on . Especially for the price. Just sell it as its own console. |

If it had been supported better it might have actually been able to prolong the Genesis' lifespan, but with the Saturn coming out there really wasn't much of a reason to support it. It's a really weird situation that Sega got themselves into. |

Both games are complete (no CD in Comix Zone though). The Game Genie box is in decent condition, and the cartridge itself is still in a sealed bag. The codebook has major wear, but all pages are present and legible. I already had a GG with a nice codebook, so I'll keep the box and good book and sell the extra cartridge and the poor condition book. I paid $10 for the GG - that's an old price sticker still stuck to the box. |
