This doesn't exactly count as a "pickup" per-say, but just the other day I got my Yamaha YSP-1600 sound bar in the mail. This thing is amazing. It is a surround sound speaker bar, and despite what you may be thinking, this thing LITERALLY has surround sound. When you're in a symmetrical room, it bounces sounds off of the walls which creates virtual surround speakers. I chose this over going with another full surround sound setup (which I had just done in our living room).

Found this little guy at my value village. No power cord, but eBay seems to have them for cheap.

Nice! The Ouya is a cool device to use for emulation.

Yeah, the OUYA wasn't great, but it's certainly worth $7.
