You're looking at an older version when they were still cutting stuff by hand. They eventually had custom dies made for their NES/SNES boxes and labels. I actually have a copy their Sweet Home sitting around somewhere. One that used the dies and wasn't cut by hand.
All my stuff started that way as well (cut/made entirely by hand). But, like TW, growing meant more $$$ coming in, which meant reinvesting in new equipment, bigger facility, more staff, etc. which means quality is better and more consistent.
