What was Achieved
I couldn't be happier with what was achieved during 2016 here at the Cover Project.
Atari 2600, Genesis, NES, Wii, Wii U, PS3, PS4, SNES, Xbox 360, GameBoy, GBA, and GBC all got major updates this year. We got over 100 PS4 covers now archived on TCP. The Xbox 360 was missing Major titles and hadn't been updated since 2013. This year, we made every COD, Halo, Gears of War (basically big sellers) available on Xbox 360.  Thanks to cover artists such as Polygon, RecOne, Karl_87, Lumberjack42, Rockability1983, PX0, Sheep2001, MEL, shenske, and many others, we had a fine stream of covers all year long.

I also want to recognize Bear78 who provided tons of scans. Larryinc64 submitted many updates to N64 covers that were out of date. I replaced many old covers with his new ones but I have a few more I need to post. We also have wonderful users like Wiggy who continue to provide wonderfully modern takes on classic covers via the forums.

What we didn't Achieve
I'd hoped that we'd hit a 100 cover for the 3DS this year. We do have 71 covers for the 3DS and that's wonderful. About 50 of those were posted this year but I'd really hoped we would have done better.

It would be impossible for me to recognize everyone who contributed to the Cover Project. So, if there's someone I missed, give them a shout out!

Just as Segamer said, lots of great stuff accomplished this year on TCP. Lots more coming in 2017  ;D

On my personal 2017 Itinerary:

1. Finish the rest of the NES CGC covers. As many of you may know I worked on converting/recreating/restoring near the entire set of NES covers for the CGC. This upcoming year I'd like to finish the set 100% with the help of the community attaining scans and other resources. The end is in sight!

2. Finish and debut the N64 cover set for CGC. This will include both horizontal and vertical covers AND the vertical covers come in a brand new template created by myself (old covers can be converted to this new style and I will be doing this 100% myself). You're going to love it, I assure you it is far more appealing than my first go around.  ;)

3. SNES cover set for CGC. Plan is to have both vertical and horizontal covers converted in the same template we are already using. This one will require less effort (hopefully) but more time as there are so many titles released for the SNES.

4. You'll see  :P

Dear Lord,
