Random thought. I like to say "Repo" instead of "Repro".

I was just thinking about the Transformers site that sells replacement stickers for the toys. In my mind it's repolabels, but it's really of course reprolabels, for reproduction. Same thing applies for the "fake" game cartridges.

Repo just sounds more natural. Repro sounds like Scooby Doo talking. "Reep-ro! The killer is around the corner, Shaggy!"

This^. Repro probably only sounds weird because you're used to saying "repo". If I saw a "Repo Cartridge" for sale, I would guess it had been repossessed from a negligent owner  .

Repo just makes me think of the "repo man" (as in repossession).

It doesn't sound at all "right" when referring to a reproduction in my mind.

To add to what I said earlier.  I hate the term repro, but I will write is in forums.  However, since I hate saying it out loud, I will just say reproduction.  I won't ever say repo.

I am pretty adamant about using words correctly. It angers me when people use words lazily and incorrectly. I know there are accidents from time to time and I'm cool with that.
I've never had a problem with calling it a repro.

Oh, and please tell me that NES just accidentally fell off the back of a truck...
