Am I the only one who thinks that game's cover looks like a pedophile with two potential victims?

Another Console lot today.
5 Gen1 Sega Genesis
3 Gen2 Sega Genesis
1 Sega CD

Sold as not working/untested, out of the box, everything worked except for one of the Gen1, which probably just needs a clean.  Not bad for $102.50

I didn't get much this month (at least for me), but I've been working on something to give to my SO for a while now and it's finally complete.

Modded NES. Expanded audio (for those Famicom games that support it), disabled RF, split audio into two channels, changed the disabled RF port to become second channel of audio, replaced old composite jacks with plated corrosion resistant jacks, re-capped the machine, fresh 72 pin connector, and changed the red LED to blue because their favorite color is blue.

Now, this console was completely dead (before I get scolded for butchering a machine). The CPU was fried ( replaced with an RP2A03H from MikesArcade.com ) and the 72-pin connector was completely toast beyond recovery. A friend gave it to me to see if I could diagnose and repair, but then told me to just keep it when I told him it would be about $40 in parts to fix. As a result, I decided to take it an extra step further and turn it into a memorable gift for my significant other (who goes by the nickname Buzzy Beetle, hence the picture).

I've also started a limited run of reproductions on the Genesis (because it's the easiest to do and I'm still learning) for hacks, translations, patched improvements, etc. Never games released in my country unless it falls under one of those kind of categories. Never a 1:1, and all copies are marked in a way that they can easily see it's a repro. Labels are adhesive vinyl that is rated for indoor/outdoor, is UV resistant, and is laminated. :)

Very nicely done on the NES and the repros! Are you using donor boards and soldering in eproms or are you using some sort of flash board?
To be this good it takes AGES!

It's all eeproms, but whether I use a donor board or say a Second Dimension branded board depends on the game and the requirements. I have some donor boards and cases, although I hate using donor's, I'm not too upset over it.

Started with that lot, stripped all labels off with help from my rework station hot air gun, then went over everything with goo gone and rubbing alcohol to ensure they were clean. I've separated it all into single-chip boards, multi-chip boards, and SRAM boards, as well as Sega, Acclaim, and Virgin branded cases. This way if I make a repro such as Blockbuster World Championship II (which I did make myself a copy of after recreating the logo), I can use an Acclaim case for it.

And there is actually quite a few gems for the Genesis that are worthy of a repro. And a bunch of Japan excusive shmups!
