Lashek:
I didn't get much this month (at least for me), but I've been working on something to give to my SO for a while now and it's finally complete.

Modded NES. Expanded audio (for those Famicom games that support it), disabled RF, split audio into two channels, changed the disabled RF port to become second channel of audio, replaced old composite jacks with plated corrosion resistant jacks, re-capped the machine, fresh 72 pin connector, and changed the red LED to blue because their favorite color is blue.

Now, this console was completely dead (before I get scolded for butchering a machine). The CPU was fried ( replaced with an RP2A03H from MikesArcade.com ) and the 72-pin connector was completely toast beyond recovery. A friend gave it to me to see if I could diagnose and repair, but then told me to just keep it when I told him it would be about $40 in parts to fix. As a result, I decided to take it an extra step further and turn it into a memorable gift for my significant other (who goes by the nickname Buzzy Beetle, hence the picture).

I've also started a limited run of reproductions on the Genesis (because it's the easiest to do and I'm still learning) for hacks, translations, patched improvements, etc. Never games released in my country unless it falls under one of those kind of categories. Never a 1:1, and all copies are marked in a way that they can easily see it's a repro. Labels are adhesive vinyl that is rated for indoor/outdoor, is UV resistant, and is laminated. :)
