A Question of Morality

Warning: This article contains much sadness and even more melodrama.
Hello everyone,
I have a very sad question for you all...
I recently received a copy of Zelda II. The cartridge is in mint condition; however, sadly, the box was completely raped by its previous owner (it is nearly torn in half). My moral dilemma is...would it be wrong to throw the box away? :'( I have no use for it, and quite frankly, it is only a reminder of the cruelty of some game owners.
To make the decision simpler, I figure I have a few options:
Option 1) Sell it on eBay for 99 cents.
Option 2) Save it as a reminder of man's cruelty.
Option 3) Throw it away.
Option 4) Burn it atop a worthy fire.
Please help me decide.

Post a photo here, and donate it to another collector who doesn't mind its condition.

It cannot physically hold a game. The front is torn in half; the bottom is torn open (some tabs torn off).

Option 5) Send it to VGA and have it graded.
I suggest option 5.
