Welcome to Turbo collecting. Hopefully your pockets are deep (not NeoGeo deep, thank god) it's a challenge finding good deals.  :)

I know right? I used to have a TG but traded it to Wiggy since it was just the system. I never really had an interest in it because I'm an RPG fan and that's what the system lacks. But those games were hard to pass up. Especially Splatterhouse.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

I'd highly recommend an Everdrive for the TG-16.  Not only because some games are ridiculously expensive, but you'll want to play some of the Japanese PC Engine games that were never released in the U.S.  There is also an adapter to allow Japanese HuCards to run on a U.S. system, but that is just as expensive as an Everdrive.

November pick ups so far.

First this finally came in the mail.  Thanks Brexit!

Next are my finds from the weekend.  Couple of shops and a toy show.  I never find C64 stuff so it was really cool finding Out Run CIB.  The Interactive Demo Disc was a cool find too.  I believe it has Zelda Wind Waker and Lost Kingdoms II Demos on it.

And I found this last night at Michael's.  Thought it was pretty cool and will look good on the tree.

did you find that new? The art on it looks older, like Pac Man World era.

Yeah, I don't know if it's new for this year but I got it new from a local Michaels.  I didn't see it on their site.

Between a local store and some eBay scores, I have picked up a decent amount of PS2 (and a few GC) games already this month.

PS: For a dollar, it's hard to pass up a mint copy of Madden 98 even though its a sports game.  :P

Picked this set up for about $40.  All have their manuals and are in great shape!
PAL versions, of course...

LOL!  I literally threw away copies of a few of these games today in order to dump a load of PS2 cases on eBay (it's easier than trying to deal with listing actual games which aren't worth anything).

Well I disagree with them being worth nothing. And if I'm being honest, I can't respect someone who outright throws away games simply for the ease of selling the empty cases. I have a stack of loose disc games which are worth maybe 25 cents each, but I'm not going to just throw them away. Maybe there is a loose disc collector out there who would preserve them? But then again, some of us are in collecting for the love and preservation of the games; others approach it from a much more pretentious angle.

Do you even know how many Madden/Guitar Hero/Other shitty games were made? MILLIONS. I'm pretty sure those games won't become rare just because someone threw out a couple. While I understand your point(I would also not throw away working games) I get were Wiggy is comming from. Can't have worthless(yes they're worthless) games take so much space when you can get rid of em and get a few bucks with the cases.

Sports games need love too!

If anyone wants to ditch 'worthless' games, please send them my way!  ;D

The only time I pick up sports games is if they are:
A. Cartridge based, between Atari 2600 - N64
B. Come in a bundle of shit I bought.

I've got loads of them for PS2 and I really want them gone, and can totally see why he would just throw them away.

Definitely didn't mean it in a mean way or anything.  I've got plenty of worthless games in my collection. Hell, I've got a full N64 set, so there's ~200 garbage games right there  :D

I have zero use for the discs/covers that I tossed, and they aren't worth trying to sell.  My friend owned a game shop that went out of business and he literally couldn't give these away to customers, so he dumped em on me. I figured I could dump the cases on eBay in a single lot, versus trying to take pics of all the games and whatnot. I'm in the middle of moving our shop and we have a TON of crap sitting around because I tend to hold on to everything.  But there's just too much crap.  I can't move it all, so some has to go, one way or another.
