| 2 fun weeks ahead |

Oh I'm gonna have 2 fun weeks. Starting Sunday morning I have 2 weeks off from work. On Friday 28th it's the annual Night of the Living pictures cinema thing at my local Cinema: 4 movies in a row with small breaks in between. The NOTLP is always really fun as you can bring food to to the cinema and people are encouraged to comment the movies. The movies are always bit wierd or cultclassics or ones that many would probably not go see., this year they are: - Samurai Rauni Reposaarelainen - Greasy strangler - Carnage park - The girl with all the gifts With small chance of 5th movie: James Punt. A local absolutely shit James Bond parody, see trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXVhA7QEBjo Almost everyone comes in a costume and best ones are awarded. There are also quizes where you can win stuff. Oh and the whole thing starts with an hour long Zombie walk around the city. This year 2 of my sibblings are joining me. Depending on the movie before the event starts I might go see the previous movie so I can get perfect seats or join the Zombie Walk. ------------------------------------------------- Then on the morning of 2nd of November I'm heading to Helsinki for few hours and from there with overnight boat cruise to Tallin for 11 hours with a friend, and then back at late night of 3rd. Whole trip costs 27 Euros, but as I'm so going to buy cheap alcohol from there, of which's price difference between Finland and Estonia (30-60% cheaper there) will more than cover the price of the trip. With bit earlier reservations the trip would have been even less. Sidenote on bringing alcohol: Finnish coverment still tries to limit the ammount people bring from there (which they can't do unless they can proof that the alcohol brought is for selling) and at the same time insist that the amounts brought are minimal according to their statistics (yes they are as they statistics are in accurate as nobody reports how much they bring and only alcohol of inspected people is counted which is less than 1% of the passangers...). Yet the ferries and boats going across the Gulf of Finland are more or less sold out... And many travel with vans with the sole purpose of bringing huge load of alcohol even on weekly basis... |
