Pretty close to what I was expecting. I like what looks to be several different ways to control the games, including what looks to be more or less a standard pro controller. Overall I'm happy, although I'm not seeing any backwards compatibility (I wasn't expecting it at this point), and I'm thinking that there will not be a way to play DS or 3DS games with it (I still had hopes for that). Not sure if I like the name or not, but it's a thousand times better than NX.

They show a 3DS style card slot, but it does not imply anything. Maybe it will be the official format for "Switch" games (cards) but still not 3DS compatible.
It's EXACTLY what I said it would be.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxbK0TFN9H8
for a reveal trailer, it looked OK, have any definitive specs been released?also, seriously?, that's the d-pad they went with? LAME...
ok it's nice to see carts on a home system again but do i have to buy splatoon again and what about the new zelda game. it is going to be like twlight princess again like when the gamecube and wii. where if you want it for the new system you have to buy a new copy

I'm going to buy it for both systems, whatever is the outcome. But for other non 5 star+ games, probably I'll go with latest system only.
