| what are you guys thoughts on emulation NES SNES Genesis ??? |

A guy named jedite1 made a really cool video called "Consoles Vs. Emulators". Watch it here: https://youtu.be/MXNXXcDEb_0 He said in one part of the video "Playing Phantasy Star III on the computer... it doesn't seem right". I agree with him wholeheartedly. I only play video games on the actual console and/or hardware. You experience the game for what it is. Another great example I can give is pinball. Playing pinball tables on the computer using Visual PinMAME is neat, but, it's not the same as playing the real pinball machine. Playing the real machine is best because you get to see the pinball moving around, watch the different parts move, etc. With emulation, it lets you try out the pinball table and/or game before you buy the real one. |
