Handhelds, Saturn, Sega CD, Sega Master System, PS1 and PS2:

Genesis, Dreamcast & more Saturn:

Most of the Saturn jewel case games are reproductions (my word for "burned CD with replica artwork").  I have a modchip in my Saturn to play CD-R's.

NES:

Found this display at a thrift store.  Don't know what it was made for, but NES carts in sleeves fit perfectly.  Contra cart is in my NES.

More NES & SNES:

N64 & Gamecube:

Consoles currently connected to my CRT TV:

Atari & portable games:

Console "bullpen":

I can rotate the Nintendo systems in and out pretty easily since they all use the same s-video cable (except the NES of course).  NES, SMS & TG-16 all use the composite input on the front of the TV.

Modern games (mine & my son's):

My space is limited as my den doubles as my son's toy room, so this is about the extent of what I can display.  I have boxes of loose accessories, Atari & Genesis carts, as well as several boxed systems such as Dreamcast, Genesis & ColecoVision.  My original Xbox & Xbox 360 are hooked up to my living room HDTV.

My bad, I'm just used to posting here.  Perhaps an administrator can move it for me.

Very clean and organized.  Those are my favorite types of collections.  :D
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

If I were you, I would take those consoles out of those plastics bags... Like yesterday...
People may try to disagree with me, but plastic bags tend to hold in moisture and can and will corrode your systems faster than just being an a dry room like say a closet with some baking soda in a bowl hidden away somewhere.
I have seen it firsthand, and would hate for your stuff to get damaged.
Not trying to be rude here, just trying to help you out. You can do with the information whatever way you please.

If it were me, and I still wanted them in a bag of some sort to help keep dust out, I'd go to your nearest Wal-Mart/Target/K-Mart/whatever, and buy some cheap ass pillow cases. Then store them in like some drawers with a bowl of baking soda.

or the cheapest way, just a plain old cardboard box.

 :) ;) ;D

Or stick a couple of sachets of silica gel in the bag and you should be good.

That too. I didn't add that because silica packs are hard to come across unless you order a bit load of them online. At least where I live anyway. So I end up asking people to hold onto them for me when the buy something that has some in the products they buy. I put them in all of my cases up games.

Luckily they're dirt cheap.

Wiggy does, others do too. I have a Fiancée and she is totally cool with it and supports it sometimes.

My wife doesn't mind my collecting.  I nearly always pay for new items with money I make selling others, so I'm not using any of our savings.  I like to scour the local Goodwill's and other thrift stores for stuff to flip (not just games) to support my addiction...err, I mean hobby.

My son is only into Wii U and Xbox 360 now, but he'll occasionally play some of my Genesis games with me like the Sonic series.

Well, my wife is also a gamer but not a collector, so I'm always telling her that I collect because I like it and because I want my kids (when we have them) to know and play the same as I did when I was a child, and she's ok with that

My wife HATES my collecting.  In her mind, no one over 10 should be playing video games because it's "for kids."   :-X

My son is too young to get into anything yet.  It's funny though.  One day he got into my controllers and started playing with them.  He picked up a PS3 controller, and despite the fact that he had never even seen one before in his life, he still held it in his hands correctly as if he was ready to play a game.  Later when he picked up a Wii controller, the first thing he did was hold it up to his ear because he thought it was a phone.  It just goes to show how intuitive the PS3 controllers are and how ridiculously designed the Wii controllers are.   :P
