How to hold manuals in UGC's?

Pages: (1/1)

slykrysis:

So I've come across a few CIB Genesis games that have the posters, folded adverts, and game manuals included. I usually just stick the manual in with the carts and when I go to open the case I just do so gently so the manual doesn't fall out.

Is there a way I can glue down some sort of 90 degree plastic clip like you would find in a real case? I've done about an hour of Google searching for ideas but haven't come across anything I can get at a craft store of sorts. I'd like to be able to do this for NES, SNES, N64, Genesis,

Any tips would be appreciated. (I do not want to store the manuals separately from the games themselves!)

I would just glue a sleeve in there. You could trim down binder sleeves and affix them with a soldering iron. Easiest and cheapest way I can think of.

For my Atari 2600 games, since the manuals are slightly too large to fit inside the case, what I've been doing is actually slip it inside the sleeve under the cover, with the manual cover pointing inside, that way when you open it, there's actually graphics of the original manual, and it keeps them safe.   Others, such as SNES or Genesis, I just stick the manual inside the case loose, I just open it flat so that they don't fall out.
