UGCs I just picked up

So I just received a case of UGCs from thevideostoreshopper.com and the plastic on the front seemed matte and less shiny. Anybody else notice this? Anyone know where to get the older UGCs?

Yeah, same here.  I got a shipment last week and it was like that.  The shipment I got a few months before that was really high quality.  But other than that one, it seems like my quality of the UGC plastic sleeve has gone downhill.

Well this might be the final nail in the coffin for me trying to use these covers. I have had nothing but trouble printing but if the cases have gone down hill then I will just cut my losses...

My most recent UGC order (which was about a year ago) was actually glossier than my older cases.  There is very little consistency in the current production runs of UGCs.

Here is the example. Sorry if it is poor quality because this was taken from my phone. The area where the cartridge guides should tell the story of how much more foggy the new UGCs looks.

this is the main reason I have not purchased any from them in a year.  The quality is crap and absolutely no consistency in the way they look

They affix textured poly sheet to the cases. I'm sure they source it from the cheapest bidder, so expect it to change with the weather. Also, the guy who owns the tools to make them is an asshole and I wouldn't expect any less.
