Hey Guys,

Sorry I'm new here.

There was a leak in my loft the other day and my PS2 and majority of my PS2 game collection were destroyed. My PS2 I dont really mind, because I have a second one, but my game collection has some rare games (The discs are ok as far as I know). I was looking trying to find away to get the sleeves re-printed for me. I don't know if this is against TOS, but I was wondering if somebody would be able to get these printed for me as I have no printer, or near any printing facility. I would be willing to pay for the materials etc. via PayPal. I could also provide the covers in a zip file.

I'm not here to leech off the community either, I'm an amateur graphic designer, so I'd be willing to contribute in the future too.

Here's a list of the games that got damaged:

Call Of Duty: World At War

Devil May Cry

Devil May Cry 2

Devil May Cry 3

Dragon Quest VII

Final Fantasy VII: Dirge Of Cerberus

Final Fantasy X

Final Fantasy X-2

Final Fantasy XII

God Of War

God Of War II

Grand Theft Auto - Liberty City Stories

Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas

Grand Theft Auto - Vice City Stories

Ico

Killer 7

Kingdom Hearts

Kingdom Hearts 2

Kingdom Hearts 2 - RE - Chain Of Memories

Manhunt 2

Max Payne

Max Payne 2 - The Fall of Max Payne

Metal Gear Solid 2

Metal Gear Solid 3

Odin Sphere

Okami

Psi-Ops - The Mindgate Conspiracy

Shadow Of The Colossus

Shin Megami Tensei - Devil Summoner

Shin Megami Tensei - Digital Devil Saga

Shin Megami Tensei - Digital Devil Saga 2

Shin Megami Tensei - Lucifers Call (Nocturne III)

Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 3 - FES

Shin Megami Tensei - Persona 4

Silent Hill 2

Silent Hill 3

Silent Hill 4

SSX

SSX Tricky

SSX 3

Star Wars - The Force Unleashed

Suikoden III

Suikoden IV

Tekken 5

Yakuza

Yakuza 2

Please Help

And thanks.

Aww man it's a shame those KH covers got wrecked. Those holographic covers are some thing you just cant replace. :C

I could probably help you get the scans for a few of those games if they're not on the site already:
Devil May Cry
Max Payne
Psi Ops
Persona 3 FES
Persona 4
Shadow of the Colossus (Greatest Hits version)
I also have the cover to MGS2: Substance if you can't the original

Once I find a way to dezasterize/descreen my scans, I  could probably get all of these up. Just saying now that I probably can't get these in before Saturday/maybe Friday night. School comes first and such. :P

Like z0mbiew0lf said, some of those Holographic/shiny ones cant be replicated or simply printed. If your kinda anal about the collection, I would try eBay for the holograph ones.

(Before finding this site I purchased a few Sleeve arts and manuals on eBay)

Depending on the rarity of the game would also depend on the overall price of the replacement insert.

Agh I know...I tried steaming one of the covers and then placing it in between two books to dry, but it just wont dry flat, its all wrinkles...

I dont really care about the foil, I just dont want ugly looking cases on my shelf. That's my main problem. I'm not a collector where all my games have to be pristine, I collect to play.

Would anybody be able to print for me if I pay them?

thanks guys.

Chris

I'm confused why you can't just take the files to a printer to have the covers printed yourself? That's what I do.

Yeah if you wanna reprint one of the hologram covers just find a scan of the greatest hits version and paste the black bar into the image.

Once I look through the covers that aren't on the site I'll try to scan 'em in. in the morning. Good luck finding someone to print them though. If you're going to go through the trouble of having someone print them and mail them to you, you're better off just looking for them on ebay. I once saw a huge lot of empty cases being sold that still had the original sleeves thrown into them for pretty cheap.

*Edit:
OK double checked, and the site's got you covered for everything except the 2 persona games you have. (At least for the stuff I listed, you'll have to check the rest for yourself).
Like I said, I'll try to upload P4/P3:FES (they're brand new retails too, so it's up to the scanner in matters of quality). In the meantime, there's a pretty sick custom of the original P3 on the site. Make sure to look under "s" for Shin Megami Tensei instead of "p" for persona. Made that mistake quite a few times :P

Persona 3 FES: http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/raw/Atlus.retail.raw_ps2_p3fes.jpg

Persona 4: http://www.thecoverproject.net/uploads/raw/Atlus.retail.raw_ps2_p4.jpg

Both high quality JPEGs scanned at 350dpi with the descreen option turned on. Uploaded to raws because they're not perfectly cropped/straight. (scanners fault, I'd do it myself but I'm kind of sick of working with this after a few hours). Any input on overall quality? Is it acceptable by site terms?

Seriously, that scanner was flipping out on me by the end (that's why P3 is just the full glass scan). The preview would show the image perfectly straight and I'd select the desired part of the glass to scan, then it would throw a completely crooked and cropped image at me.

Bah, homework time. Hope you get all these printed out! :D
