If you're referring to the component cables, unfortunately they are not perfect.  Many modern TV's can't display a 240p signal which is what the Genesis and SNES natively output when using these cables.  I use mine on a CRT with component inputs, but I have 2 HDTV's that it won't work on.

Ok, thanks for the info.
Too Beaucoup:
A buddy of mine who lives in Chicago saw a classified ad for someone giving away a couple of stacks of PS3 games, PC games and a few random Gameboy games and accessories. The guy didn't want any money for them, he was giving them away for free, just to get rid of them. A lot of them were decent, but obviously, nothing too mind blowing. However, the guy lived in the same apt building as my friend, so my buddy asked me if he should stop and grab them for me, I said: sure. After getting there, the guy mentioned to my friend that he had a stack of SNES games he didn't want either but that he wanted a few bucks for those. My buddy sent me a pic of the games and asked me if I wanted them all for $75 dollars. Of course, I text him back saying 'YES!' about forty times in a row. So for a whopping $75 bucks I ended up with -

Donky Kong Country 1 and 2
 Final Fight 2
Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Super Mario All Stars and Super Mario World combo cart
 Mega Man X
 Earthworm Jim
 Return of the Jedi
 Mortal Kombat
 Primal Rage
 Frogger
 Pac-Man 2

 PS3
 Fallout New Vegas
 Batman Arkham City - sealed
 Dead Island GOTY
 Saints Row 2
 Saints Row 3
 Red Dead Undead Nightmare
 Crysis 2

 PS2
 Grand Theft Auto Vice City
 True Crime Streets of LA
 Time Crisis 3
 Ratchet and Clank Going Commando
 Rugby 2005 WOOOOO!!!!! LOL!
 ATV Offroad Fury 2

 Gameboy and Gameboy Color
 Bardigun
 Bomberman Max Champion Blue
 Rush 2049
 Bust A Move Millenium
 WarioLand 3
Also, a Gameboy barcode reader... Never knew this existed.

Also, a ton of PC games, which a lot of, I already have, but for free, who cares. Not a bad score for $75. I'd imagine this is probably the best haul I will ever get. Best part is, my buddy's sister was out there visiting him and she brought them all home with her, so I didn't have to pay any shipping fees. Call me a happy camper for this week! I've been wanting quite a few of these SNES games for a while, but have been holding out due to the retro price gouging that takes place these days.
