Never thought of that.
British Pound is going down constanly, and now USD too maybe...

I sincerely meant that as a joke. I don't follow politics too much but the dude sounds crazy haha. I'll have to see if I can get a case here in Aus to test out the comparisons

Out of curiosity, what do you mean?

I'm not sure if it's because it's the first batch, but some of mine (both GB and NES) don't properly hold the cartridges in. Particularly, when opening the case, the cartridges may pop out, at least on one side. It doesn't really bother me because the cases do their job and are still an amazing product, plus they look beautiful with inkjet-printed semi-gloss inserts.

Edit: To be specific, we're talking sub-millimeter differences in the injection molding and most likely something beyond anyone's control. Also, I live in the same sweltering city (Las Vegas) as Shadowfox, so the heat very well could have microscopically warped them. Seriously, don't worry about it, it's a million times better than the UGCs, which don't even hold the cartridges.  ;D

I have noticed that the games popping out on the GB cases is mostly due to the way you open the case. My standard way of opening the case places my fingers right where the cartridge is and then doing the little bit of push-pull to open the case causes my fingers to push the cartridge out a bit. The case will hold the cart just fine if you don't place any pressure on the back when opening the case. If thats the biggest issue though it definitely seems like something everyone can deal with :)

That's not to say the UGCs are bad, but like I said Shadowfox cases are generally considered higher quality, build wise and also in terms of the amount that break in transit. Also a few other things to note:

I've never bought Shadowfox cases, just UGC, but I've now ordered 300 UGC, three separate orders of 100 and never had a single one break in transit.  I ship them to the US border, a business picks them up and stores them, then I pick them up and don't pay duty as the cost is low enough they just don't care.

I just wish they had a slot for manuals, I just tuck them in loosely (and unfortunately, Atari ones don't fit, they get stuffed in the sleeve under the art)

The international shipping can be painful. Since a lot of the cost is by volume, stuff like this is the worst case scenario. So I certainly feel folks having to decide based on that.

But I do think the Shadowfox cases are the better buy. Better build quality, and being able to hold SNES manuals are the key things for me. The ability to get it in a non-clear version is an extra bonus. It really is up to you if the extra cost is worth it though. Perhaps you don't include manuals in your collections, or don't mind if the cases feel a little cheap (since they are just bits of plastic and not what you are collecting).
