Would be a pretty strong hypocrite seeing as I'm a practicing Catholic. I just tend to look at things realistcly. Read my earlier points, Fritz. You don't seem to be grasping the concept here...people are killing others. Who gives a damn why? Whether it's god, money, sex or madness...people are killing other people. My entire point is to show that fearing one group of people because they might murder you is the same as saying you're prejudice/stereotyping. So no, I have no problems with Christians, or any group as a whole. I just have problems with those who commit heinous acts. And people too blinded by fear and hate to see that.

I think you're totally underestimating the importance of motive. It's just people killing others... except that it's muslims killing non-muslims. I think you're not understanding my points dude. My point is not that we should fear all muslims, but do I feel concern? Yes, and it doesn't make me a racist or a bigot to be afraid of something that might kill me.

Also, there are multiple passages in the Quran that not only support but command our murders as well, unlike the Bible which you brought up to obfuscate the issue. From what I've read (and I haven't been to Europe in over 15 years, hence the reason I opened this topic to find out their perspective) it's not very safe in Germany and Sweden for native Christians right now. The ones committing the beatings are often refugees, though this information is either heavily censored or outright blocked (I read that Sweden or Germany cannot report the race or religion of the perpetrator... so politically correct). These are the people that Obama and Hilary want to bring in by the truckload. Is it all of them? Of course not, but there's clearly a problem here. You know that many muslims don't share our appreciation for freedom or women's and gay rights? That's not an attack on them. It's a fact.

Actually most of the terror attacks have been Muslims killing other Muslims in Muslim countries. Except mainstream media doesn't like to cover it so much. At least not over here. I say Muslims killing Muslims, what I actually mean is psychopaths killing regular families. Because, let's face it, it's not REALLY about religion. It's about power and money. How do you get power? Fear. A few of the attacks have been by loners, seeking their place in heaven. Generally mentally unstable, depressed, disenfranchised individuals. But most have been orchestrated higher up the chain of command.

I'm done wasting time with this, so I'll end with this: In all the times we have disagreed on here, you have never presented anything more than your right wing opinions and "biased" or informal websites for empirical data. You are entitled to your opinions about whatever - just know that whenever you decide to open your mouth and SHARE those opinions, there'll be someone like me to challenge them (and/or mock them).
Your worldview is shallow and small, and I'm sorry for that. I wish you could look at things from another perspective, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen right now. This whole thing started when you casually put wikipedia stats about races that included one random entry about one singular religious group, in the same paragraph where you stated you were scared of a terrorist attack. That was no coincidence. Your defense of Donald Trump later on showed that quite clear. As well as your blanket statement that I must hate Christians. It's typical "don't oppress me" attitudes that are all over Fox news and MSNBC. All lives matter. Don't take my guns. Put CHRIST back in CHRISTmas. It's Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve. You have no legitimate things to worry about (compared to other races/cultures/religions/etc), so you make yourself feel important and interject yourself into the problems that face the world. This is white man's burden in modern times, no matter which way you approach it. Get over yourself. No one person is more special than another. No one cares. You generalize statistics and you compare the rest of the world to your own misbegotten sense of justice or morality. Your fear clouds you. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate...to suffering. It's the same fear that was present in the gun argument a few months ago. I don't know WHAT, specifically, you're afraid of. But it apparently involves the Cartels and radical Islamic fundamentalists marching to Orange county to rape your women and wreak havoc. You live in OC California - a red county in a blue state. The home of a large chunk of the 1%. If you need to be afraid of ANYBODY it's some guy with a mental disorder who raids his dad's gun closet arsenal and marches in to Disney Land because he likes Bugs better than Mickey. Either that or property values going down in Laguna or Newport.

I'm not going to check this thread anymore. So reply in 24 hours if you want, but I won't read it. Arguing on the internet is pointless, as no one's point is ever fully explained. Anecdotes and information is often misconstrued and people can easily misinterpret what is written. No one backs down because nobody knows anyone. And besides, I have games to play. I'm all up for a good argument, but this loses it's fun pretty quickly.

Ok, I read that mass of text. Don't ever mention me talking about racism. I'm major against that and have zero tolerance for that bullshit. You don't know me, but thanks for making me important enough to stay up all night and ignore your poor wife. Here's news: I hope I am wrong. I hope there is absolutely nothing to fear. This isn't about winning an argument for me like it is for you. I hope it's like sheep says and that these are a few isolated incidents, but I am not convinced yet either way.
