I've been saying for a while now that GS is just about giving Wii games away. I've picked up a lot of good games for super cheap lately.

Was sent some Pokemon games from a friend that were completely dead.

3 of them needed reflow with fresh solder and new batteries, so I did just that. 1 of them needed two jumpers, and a new battery due to liquid corrosion. The friend only wanted one of them back (Pokemon TCG) and gave the other 3 to me as payment for the repair work.


So, I now have Pokemon Gold, Red, and Yellow as spares that I don't need.


I had to do work on Pokemon Gold to get it to work properly:


Anyone need these? Willing to let them go in trade.

Yes, I know the jumper isn't pretty and could be done better. The insulation melts too easily as it's not meant for soldering, and I have 32AWG Winding wire coming in the mail, which will let me redo it in a much prettier fashion.

Every other day I go in to my corner market and clear out their stock.  I was a huge fan of this 23 years ago.  I missed it terribly.  Now they just need to bring back Pepsi Blue.

Crystal Pepsi tastes just like regular Pepsi but watered down. What so great about it besides it being clear?

It's a different formula, although if you're not a big soda drinker it is probably nothing special.  And I don't really like regular Pepsi that much, but this I can enjoy.

Anyway, I found this deal on Offer Up for $35.  Only problem was we couldn't find a time to meet.  I upped my offer to $50 if he'd hold it to Saturday and he agreed. 



12 hardcover guides (including Borderlands 2 GOTY, Witcher III and Arkham City) and 1 paperback guide (FO3)

Considering what Borderlands 2 goes for alone, I am very happy with this transaction.

I don't think it tastes watered down.  What you are describing sounds more like Pepsi Free.  Anyone remember that?

Crystal Pepsi doesn't taste bad, but when it's gone, I won't miss it.
