You got some great stuff in there Aaron!

My haul from a local STL Game Convention over the weekend.  Anyone got any recommended games for WonderSwan?

...Anyone got any recommended games for WonderSwan?

unfortunately theres a bit of a language barrier with the WS, however there are excellent versions of Tetris, Golden Axe, Mr. Driller, Makimura (ghouls n ghosts), Klonoa, Pocket Fighter and Guilty Gear (petit 1 and 2) and if you can find a copy, Judgment Silversword (think my copy was around £100 a few years ago... ). Also recommended are all 3 Gunpey games, Rainbow Island and Space Invaders.

They just opened a new Vintage Stock not far from my house.  So I've got that going for me......  which is nice.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Nice pickup on Siren.  I hope you got it at a good price.  A really underrated horror gem.

Yeah, based off VGPC, Siren and XIII were a little under market.  However, Ultimate Spider-Man LE was super cheap.  I think they priced it as though it wasn't the LE.  It included the slip cover, case, manual, comic and disc so overall pretty happy.

I played each game for a little while last night.  I was really impressed with XIII despite the fact that the controls leave a little to be desired.  It has potential to be a really enjoyable game.  I also really like the cell shaded graphics for both XIII and Ultimate Spider-Man.  But I need more than just a few minutes of playing time on Siren to give any kind of opinion.

Picked up a Sega CD for cheap on EBay as a parts unit. Replaced the fuse and C118 cap and it was as good as new.

Decided to modify it by changing the LED to match my personal Genesis unit. Also put in a CR2032 with ultra slim holder instead of a CR2016 so that I don't need to use a soldering iron to change the battery in the future. Now I need to get two more Sega CD units (one for model 1, one for model 2) so that I can have stock setups besides the ones I change for my liking.

Also finished up replacing caps in all of my consoles (didn't touch the Sega CD as I was waiting to see what I'd need).

I remember pre-ordering XIII back in High School and gettig the soundtrack bonus.  Suck a great soundtrack and amazing game. (i got it on the GC)  Also Siren is one I regret never getting but I plan on it soon.  Love those games.  Great finds!!!
