The money is indeed not spent for nothing!
In fact one controller cost me only approx. 30 EUR and for the quality you get it is fair.

And more important the gamepad(s) passed my "Contra 3 test".
That means i can play any game with it.

If the NES gamepad would really be more like a original one with only two buttons, i would buy it as well.
Yes, a Sega pad would be nice, too!
Even though both would be redundant for the use with the Retron 5.

These look great, and good idea for collectors to have everything on the shelf next to each other. I've been using the blu-ray megapack for anime collections and didn't even think to use them for this.

I like the case idea but I've got 2 of the 8bitdo controllers, ones SNES one SFC (same thing just colors), LOVE THEM!! I also got one of the wireless SNES BT adapters from them, works like a charm. Those guys make good stuff. I'm not sold on the super tiny one they have but from the packaging to the feel of the controller itself, the knocked it out of the park. No, I don't work for them, but I feel fine with supporting them because maybe they'll make more awesome stuff in the future.

Thank you Grim-83. Yes it was the idea to have uniformed template and of course a proper case to store the accessories.

Today i have two new covers again.
Tomorrow i'll take care of the AC Adapater Cover.
(I odered a spare adapter - one remains in the docking station, the other is for on the go)

How much wiggle room is there in the cases with the controllers?

Mainly the Xbox 360 controller.

It depends on the controller, the Switch Joy-Cons or a Wii Remote have way more space than a GameCube Wavevird that cannot move at all.
The Xbox 360, DualShock, Xbox One controllers have some wiggle room. But they rest on the side in the box, so everything is fine.
Wired SNES, Sega or DualShock 2 controllers fit without any space to wiggle (because of the cable).

I use these cases for a long time now and i haven't seen any damages or scratches if that is your concern.

Here are some example pics:

Hm... i don't know, i thought these are some standard Amaray products.
They usually come with a separate inlay where you can put the CD's on.

Been searching for a non-heart-attack inducing way to get a handful of these Amaray Megapack cases here in the U.S.  No luck at all.

Any chance a fellow member might have three to five of the 12-18 disc 43mm cases with disc inserts they could sell me?
