Yes! The screenshot came from that raspberry Pi Mini NES but the idea didn't. When the NES Classic Edition was announce, I felt it needed a cartridge port.

Sounds to me like the NES Mini would be a smaller scale than the ROB Amiibo, but that would be cool if they matched.

I really hope Nintendo is smart and makes them readily available. Knowing Nintendo they love the 'false demand' tactic where they intentionally release small quantities to keep demand high. Everyone I've talked to though is stoked about this. There is no need to create the false demand when the demand is already outrageous.

Oh I'm sure they'll make em as fast as they sell for as long as they sell.

Only 12 in stock at the local WalMart. You had to be in line 2 hours prior store opening in order to get a ticket for it.
I guess I'll wait for the next batch as I don't have time to chase this today

My Facebook feed is about 50% posts about the NES Mini (the other half being all political posts   ).  Every NES Mini post is about one of the following:

• Someone who got one
• Someone who waited in line, but didn't get one
• Someone who is mad because the scalpers are out in full force

I'm so glad I stayed the hell away from the entire mess.  I'll pick one up next month when you can walk into any store and pick from dozens sitting on the shelf.

Sadly my newsfeed is full of political bs also. More so now than the day of voting.
It actually kind of pisses me off that of all things wrong, people are bitching about the what ifs and it not being fair, and and acting like the world has ended. Well it hasn't, we all still woke up to see the new day, instead of crying about those problems that doesn't really exist, go do something to positively enrich your problems.

I decided not to get into the hype of busting my ass to try to get a NES Mini right now. There will be more. Now if I happen to see one easily available at retail price in store, I'll get one, but not until then.
