NES Mini !!!

Making carts for it with game collections like the Neo Geo X would have made it less of a dated turd. It's irrelevant and 15 years too late (plug-n-play consoles have been around FOREVER).


We're looking at a new Enviosntec 3D printer. When we get it, I'll just make my own Pi-powered version, and maybe I'll even make little carts to go with it with SD cards inside. 

This is EXACTLY how I feel.  I might want a controller or 2 for my Wii/U if they're built as good as the originals but other than that I'd rather just play the real thing or emulate.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. Not really interested in the NES Mini since I have almost everything built in to the console, but I will be picking up two of the controllers for my Wii U. Shovel Knight co-op with NES controllers? Yes please!

It's actually called the "NES Classic Edition" not NES mini, that probably why you're not seeing anything.

Nah.
Games have been available on Virtual Console and are easy to emulate on PC, but real cart is always real cart.
