Ok I maybe missing something but I thought WiiWare was downloadable games and software from the Nintendo network onto the Wii and WiiU, so why are there game covers for them?

Is it possible to back up these games to a DVD/CD or are they basically shelf fillers, or can they be brought on disc :s

I think you can download them to a USB key attached to the console, then store the key in a case + cover.

  • Quote me not.
My number one guess would be WiiFlow.
A Wii/Gamecube/WiiWare backup manager with plugin support for roms and emulators with support for full covers. Course your Wii has to be JB..

I know that Virtual Console games can be stored on an SD card, and played from the SD card.  I'm not sure about Wii Ware games though.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."
