I've honestly been considering getting ever drives due to how high some games are priced
My thoughts exactly. 8 everdrives in my collection now, with number 9 already pre-ordered. Plus one non-everdrive branded flash card.
I have an Everdrive for the Sega Genesis because it's my favorite system of all time. While I have a decent collection, and I really enjoy collecting for it, I find I use the Everdrive most for ROM hacks and homebrew games.
I also have an Everdrive for the TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine. I recently bought a TG16, but I knew going in that I could never afford even a fraction of the HuCard games I wanted to play.
My bigger priorities are the systems harder to emulate, like N64 and Virtual Boy, as NES, Genesis and SNES emulation is basically flawless at this point, thouhg I may opt for one as I like the original hardware. I hear someone is working on a Saturn flash cart.
I probably won't be able to afford one for a while, right now my to-buy list is full of video equipment and other un-fun purchases, like a new desk or mouse pad (Been using the same one for probably a decade, it's a Gateway one) I jut got a new office chair after the back of my my old one broke (though I was able to turn it into a foot stool) and I just broke another part of a already janky microphone., looking for alternatives though I may try to track down another Radio Shack one like I got (They go for $20 on eBay, not the worst considering I know they last a long time, got these 2 years ago, 1 still is fine)
I also need lighting, a new tripod (My camera is taped to my old one), and some backdrops for future Figure reviews, I dodged a bullet on the battery, as it stopped charging, I dropped the camera, and it charges again.
I also need another Component switch box, and an HDMI one as well and a better way to handle AC adapters so they are not all plugged in at once.
