Hi! I don't post very often... but at least this will keep my account alive, =P;

I bought these in an anime convention here; not games, but gaming related:

a Master System joystick pillow;
a SNES guide; a book about Street Fighter story in general;
and an issue of my favorite magazine: Nintendo World; ^^'
Something, something about future;

I dig the pillow

Super excited to finally add these to my shelf of games. About $50 bucks each, but what can ya do... Really should have bought them a couple of years ago when I saw them a few times for quite a bit less.

Those are worth $100 each (or more), so $50 is a good price.  Are they complete with manuals?

Would you mind scanning in the cover for Splatterhouse 3? I need it bad like. Then my copy will be complete.

The covers were already uploaded to the site. They're sized for Universal Game cases but can be resized, perfectly, for Genesis cases. I had to do it for my Genesis copy of Zombies Ate My Neighbors a while back. Just open in MS Paint and resize from there and print.

Guide to printing Genesis covers from UGC covers.

http://www.thecoverproject.net/forums/index.php?topic=6763.msg56181#msg56181

Set the “Width” to 3188 pixels and the “Height” to 2020 pixels.  This is the exact size of original Genesis covers, the FAQ size is off. Uncheck "Maintain aspect ratio",  Hit “OK” to resize the image then save and close the file.

They will print out and fit perfectly in a Genesis case.

I didn't know we had the cover, when I bought the game for $7 we didn't have a cover for it. I do however know how to make covers for games. Hence why I asked for a scan of it.

If I do have the manual I will do so... But the more I've been thinking about it, I think I've got it ass backwards and I have the cover not the manual. I'll check when I get home and let you know.

I assumed you could make covers, just wasn't sure if you knew the exact measurements for resizing the UGC covers for Genesis cases, that's the only reason I linked that. I had no idea what the proper dimensions were until I found the thread.

I've honestly been considering getting ever drives due to how high some games are priced

My thoughts exactly.  8 everdrives in my collection now, with number 9 already pre-ordered.  Plus one non-everdrive branded flash card.

I have an Everdrive for the Sega Genesis because it's my favorite system of all time.  While I have a decent collection, and I really enjoy collecting for it, I find I use the Everdrive most for ROM hacks and homebrew games.

I also have an Everdrive for the TurboGrafx-16/PC Engine.  I recently bought a TG16, but I knew going in that I could never afford even a fraction of the HuCard games I wanted to play.

My bigger priorities are the systems harder to emulate, like N64 and Virtual Boy, as NES, Genesis and SNES emulation is basically flawless at this point, thouhg I may opt for one as I like the original hardware. I hear someone is working on a Saturn flash cart.

I probably won't be able to afford one for a while, right now my to-buy list is full of video equipment and other un-fun purchases, like a new desk or mouse pad (Been using the same one for probably a decade, it's a Gateway one) I jut got a new office chair after the back of my my old one broke (though I was able to turn it into a foot stool) and I just broke another part of a already janky microphone., looking for alternatives though I may try to track down another Radio Shack one like I got (They go for $20 on eBay, not the worst considering I know they last a long time, got these 2 years ago, 1 still is fine)

I also need lighting, a new tripod (My camera is taped to my old one), and some backdrops for future Figure reviews, I dodged a bullet on the battery, as it stopped charging, I dropped the camera, and it charges again.

I also need another Component switch box, and an HDMI one as well and a better way to handle AC adapters so they are not all plugged in at once.

Yeah, something like that. ^

How is it?

I've been very happy with it.  I use three of them currently and I'm thinking about getting two more which would allow me to have everything switched.

The only downside is that the big bricks don't fit on the back without overlapping on another plug.  So I use very short (approx. 6") extension cords to run from the brick to the back of the switch box.

And yes, the Genesis has to use three switches.  I need to get one of those power supplies that covers all three pieces (Gen, CD and 32x).
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Would plugging power strips into one of them work? So I can select groups of systems instead of individual ones, just so I don't have to buy 3 of them.

I suppose so.  I would try to keep the cord as short as possible.

I just ordered another Component switcher (A RadioShack 4 way one, $15). The box has the 4th output

The power switcher will probably be my next addition, then a HDMI Switcher, and some convoluted set up to make it Capture Card friendly (Including a HTCP stripper and a second switcher used in reverse to chose what output it goes to (Capture card or direct to TV) Maybe some S-Video to HDMI set up and component for the HDRetrovision or maybe just a framemister if I'm shooting high.

I'm going to need to rewire my Constable shelf . . . yay

Last time it look 3+ hours  ;D
