Most cross country runners will do approximately 100 miles a week during a season (which I bet xcountryrunner89 was doing when he was in college. I know I was). |

Then I ran a half marathon on a whim and I loved it so much I trained to do a full the following year (this was about 6 years ago). I enjoyed it and I planned to continue running more full marathons, but I just haven't been able to fit the training schedule into my current life. Getting married and having kids makes it difficult. But I still enjoy it when I can find the time. |

It's been a bit difficult since I graduated. I was doing between 60 to 80 miles a week depending on the time of the year or part of the season. I ran some college races unattached which were pretty cool. I really like that 8k distance. I used to do the Steamboat Classic which was a pretty popular road race. I hope to start things up again. |
