i'll keep this simple.
i was invited a a known private tracker, and tbh, it just DOESN'T meet my standard of writeups, dl archive styles (don definitions/generic) and general path of QA, i'll ONLy upload game like packages i KEEP as my own archives, and my username is EMBEDDED in the hashtags of the created archive.
keep in mind, i refer to home dumps from my own disks, the very same covers placed on these boards.
simply put, the rules stated i had to commit to a trumpable system of shares where the rules stated a home dump by a CREATED ARCHIVE (user created) had to be as generic as gvt tabs, all the same.
as that was the case, it meant i couldn't personally hallmark the uploads intended, effectively making the share done by anybody who doesn't know what the FUCK they are doing, or put care into it.
i refused to cinced to dumping my own disks and sharing them simply because any twat can rip a blank dump (DOES have to be
standard verify type) supply it and trump the hard effort.
in short, who can say if the uploader even tested that dump that trumped my EFFORT ridden share?
if anybody can rip roms off the webs and supply them, makes home efforts moot and a fuckin SHEER waste of time and precious BW, especially as the shares I HAVE TO ...share DON'T measure up to snuff...aka: waste of harddisk space.
i keep a separate hallmarked result for archives.
as they won't allow me to hallmark my shares, give a complete writeup on usage/director list for the user's benefit.
so i won't share.
simples, they lose, and i won't put my name (amiga1200) to anything less the PURE QA on my side, as well as a type of control over the share, by hallmarking it via it's interior hashtag.
i''ve showed my game collection to them, only for the silence to be met, and in a certain context, it DOESN'T fuckin fly with me, when it on my tab.
so i sucked it up, obeyed the rules without question at the same time as defining MY terms of wasting bw and hdd space, just not happening.
