I knew they were starting to ship out the first batches, but I figured I was still a ways out so I was surprised to get them. Unfortunately, I won't have much time this week to test them out. I'll let you all know what I think once I get to mess around with them. --- End quote --- I'm interested to see how these actually perform. I dread rewiring all my systems (my SNES, N64, and Genesis are currently running S-Video) but it might be worth it if they really work great. --- End quote --- I'm actually the same way. When I backed these cables, my setup was quite different from the way it is now. It will actually be a lot of work getting SMS, Gen and SNES to run through component under my current setup, but I think I've found a way to do it. Like I said, I'll get some feedback out there once I have some time. I'm hoping that since they were successful in making these cables, that they can go forward and focus on other systems. I would love to see them reproduce the GameCube cable amongst others. |

About the HD Retrovision component cables: Do they make a separate component cable for the Master System? I thought there was an adapter so that the same cable could be used on both Genesis model 1's and 2's, and since Master System uses the same cable as a Genesis model 1 they should be interchangeable. I ask because I notice you have 3 cables. Maybe you bought two of the same so you could have SMS and Genesis hooked up at the same time without having to switch cables. |

I vaguely remember reading that they tried to create one cable for Genesis model 1 and 2 and use an adapter, and you would get the appropriate cable/adapter to what you backed. But I may not be remembering the details, and I haven't taken a close look at my cables yet (or even taken them out of the plastic). At the vary least, I will try to open the packaging tonight and have a look. Unfortunately, this has been a busy week for me, so not much time for testing and playing. |

The end is designed for a model 2 and comes with an adapter to fit into a model 1. Also, the Sega cable includes a 1/8" audio input for the stereo out on the Model 1 Genesis. |
