Most Sega CD games came in the long jewel cases, I believe they're the same ones that Saturn games come in. There were a few that came in long cardboard boxes, I think all 22 are listed here: http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21675

There were also 5 32X CD games that came out in North America, each in a long cardboard box: http://segaretro.org/Sega_Mega-CD_32X

Has anyone seen custom inserts for these cardboard box games? Since the manuals sit in the front of the long jewel cases, the custom inserts would consist of the back and two spines. Thanks!

Is this what you are looking for?  I made these a while back.  For the record, the 32x manuals are a little bigger than normal long box Sega CD manuals, so they don't fit perfectly in the jewel cases.

Here's the link to the actual discussion.

Yes, that's what I'm looking for. Have you made any others? I'm looking for Monkey Island and Final Fight CD. Thank you! Any chance you could share a Photoshop template?

These templates are for Sega Saturn long boxes.  I used them to get the size correct for the Sega CD long boxes.  I just took the art work from the DVD covers and re-sized it to fit in this template.  The front cover will cause some stretching, but the back cover ratio is pretty close.

Great idea, I am slowly working on these myself.

I recently requested backs for final fight CD (in both blue and matching orange) so if you search the request thread you will find these exist already as well.

I ended up making a longbox back for Monkey Island. I took the artwork from the DVD case, but didn't resize it, so there's a bit of room left at the bottom. I'll post the .psd as well.

Does anyone have the rears and spines for Secret of Monkey Island, Wonder Dog, and After Burner III? I am interested in the ones that would match the original manuals instead of the tradition blue scheme.
