Yup. All sorts of random crap (and some good stuff) has sky rocketed over the years. Another fine example? Gargoyle's Quest II. I paid $5 for that back about 5 years ago. Now it's pushing $100 on eBay. Sad. |

Hopefully the bubble will pop in 5 to 10 years when all the newbie collectors drop out. To be honest though, I do not think prices will ever be as low as they were 5 to 10 years ago. I have a hair under 400 NES games. I will be hard press to get above 500, the prices are just too inflated for me to collect the last ~15% i would need. |

Ya the NES and SNES prices are outrageous now. I have the prices of games from 5-10 years ago in my head, and when I want to pick up a game I check out what the going rate is now and pretty much forget about it. I would love for the theoretical bubble to burst so I can pick up some more SNES games but I have my doubts. |
