Nice Sega lot! Especially Shadowrun is a good one and kings Quest too. Gotta hate though that so many Mega Drive / Genesis games sucked humidity in under their plastic sleeves over the years. SoR 3 seems pretty f*d up cover wise. :'(

Thanks!  Yeah, SoR 3 is a bit sunfaded on the front. Luckily the spine and back are fine.  And the game plays fine as well.  Since I planned on printing a custom cover anyway, I've made peace with this.

Garage sailing in upstate NY.....tis the most wonderful time of the year.

Picked up an original model backward compatible 4-usb port PS3 with 4 original sixaxis controllers for $100.  Fires right up and works like a charm.

Also strolled over to another sale and saw this basket of SNES and N64 Carts.  Guy wanted 3 bucks a cart.  I offered 50 for the basket and he took it.

All these great find and I'm just sitting here with my tears.  :P

EDIT: OH!

I forgot to say, last month I finally got my Driver's License!

After I'm done with my collage semester I may plan a Tag Sale run, but CT is always fairly dry. I did find some OK stuff a few ears ago though.

Wow!

Finding stuff like that around here is really difficult. There are a ton of guys who go out at the crack of dawn to hunt at the local garage/yard sales.  The good stuff at most every sale is gone within 5 minutes of the sale start.

Same here.  When I woke up, I checked facebook, and a local guy I know was already posting his garage sale finds, and I was like, "I guess there is no reason for me to go today."  :P

Some decent buys lately:

-Got the two Saturn games on Ebay for around $25 each, well under the normal selling price. Both are complete and near mint. Still some deals to be found on Ebay every once in a while. The Rayman was listed without a picture (only a stock photo), but was described as very good condition with case & manual so I took a chance.  I almost never buy without seeing an actual photo, but I figured Ebay would get me my money back if it wasn't in the described condition.
-Paid top dollar for Gradius V (which I rarely do), but it's absolutely mint condition, and I've been wanting to play it for a long time.
-Super Mario All Stars & Shinobi 3 from Gamestop - $27 for the two.  The label on Shinobi is a little damaged, but the Mario label is really clean.  I have a manual for Mario, so I printed an insert from here and now I have a really nice addition to my collection.

I also just missed getting a Sega Nomad for less than $30.  I frequently look at "newly listed" Sega items, and the first item on a recent list was a Nomad that the seller said he couldn't test.  Since Nomads require a separate battery pack or an AC adapter, it was very likely that this unit was in working condition and the seller just didn't know what he needed to test it.  It was the first listing of nearly 100,000 Sega items (meaning it was just listed minutes ago), but it was already sold by the time I clicked on it.

Super jelly of the tag sale hauls.  I would love to hit them up here is Seattle due to all the tech and game companies but people here know what they got so it sucks.  Then again I got like 8 indy game shops within a 20 min. drive so its all cool.

Anyway

Been slacking.  Not to much

I got to visit Louisville for the first time in over a year, so I stopped by the local stores to see what they had.  There are two Half Price Books in the area that usually have cheap games.  This time, it appears that someone had sold them a big Sega CD collection with Android Assault, Terminator, Robo Aleste, Wonder Dog and many more.  Unfortunately, despite their normally cheap prices, someone must have looked these up since the prices were pretty close to market value.  For anyone who lives in the area, keep an eye out for sales or coupons.  I didn't get any of them.  (It was the one on Westport Road).

All I ended up with was some Sony games.  :P  Nothing big, but they were cheap.

you are right arseen, the mega, i mean COUGH COUGH, not at at all

32 Games + System + Mouse + 2 Controllers = $100

Thats 34 (games + super game boys) + 1 (system) + 2 (video and power cable) + 1 (Mouse) + 2 (Controllers) = 40 items

$100 / 40 Items = $2.50 each individual item in this lot.

Missed you too Arseen  :)

Look at this guy!  So, you gonna be unloading this stuff at CCAG this year? :P
What's the CCAG?

@kittybones26: that's an insane haul!

First flea market pickup of the season.  Paid $20 for everything in the picture.  Although Grid Runner turned out to be Need for Speed.  Also, Year of the Dragon was missing it's disc, so I'm looking for a disc only copy now.

Had 2 packages waiting for me at work on Monday!

First up is Kronos for Xbox 1, which I completely forgot I preordered on Amazon like 4 months ago so it was a nice surprise.

Second was a Kickstarter book I back a few months ago call Unreal Estate.  It also had 2 prints whit the tier I backed.  Wanted other prints but oh well I gotta back within my budget!  Its not just huge pictures and whatnot, there are writeups about them and explains the reason behind them.  Its a cool book and glad I backed it.  Now to have a chance to read it.
