BadChad:

I got one of those Nendoroid figures too. Came in last week. Haven't had a chance to open it yet though!

Arseen:

More crap to collect. :P :'(

Got all this in late December 2015, so not techinically 2016, but close enough and I've just started getting them working.   Possibly some pics to come (Of course once I make covers)

I put an ad on Kijiji (Canadian equivalent of craigslist, except less rapey) looking for broken systems and games, and had someone contact me.   He had a bunch of old systems, wanted a NES and SNES working, I get to keep the rest.  Well, the SNES just needed a new AC port, and the NES needed to be cleaned.  For that, I got another working NES, two SNES (one working, one blackscreened), two Genesis (one working, one no video), about 25 games for Genesis (nothing really rare, but some fun titles) a handful of games for the SNES (Link to the past probably being the best) and a few basic NES games, two light guns, four NES controllers, all for free.

Best part is, all for free.  Cost me about $15 in parts to get the two SNES working again, the Genesis just needed cleaning.   Now I'm just keeping an eye out for cheap carts for any console.  Just ordered myself a 32x on ebay for $20 (need a cheap Sega CD now).

Here's to a good 2016 everyone (*raises the cup of Iso Alcohol I've been using to clean each cart)

Megatron:

While not as impressive as the SNES pickup earlier in the month, I'm pretty happy with this.
About 100 Sega games for $200 from a local seller.  Some games are complete, others are missing manuals.  And there are definitely a handful of duplicates (mostly sonic and sports titles).

A lot of decent titles in here, for the Genesis AND Master System.  Some have manuals, some don't.  Condition varies, but all look pretty respectable.

But these are the games that made all of this worth while for me.  Truxton, Streets of Rage 3, Shadowrun and King's Quest alone make the lot worth its price tag.

Nice haul.

I'm Sega's always got a soft spot for me, it's the console I had as a kid, rather than Nintendo. Heck, for the longest time I only had Sonic Spinball.

8 year old me would kill for some of the stuff I've got now (although at the same time, I wish I had some of the games I had back then too ahaha)
