I am annoyed that they aren't at least giving us the slightest inclination of what they system will be like at E3. Only focusing on Zelda at E3 is a bold move ... it's dangerous to go alone. All this says to me is Nintendo NEEDS to push out the massive WiiU systems they have sitting in the warehouse AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. They don't want the NX to steal the whatever thunder the WiiU has left. I expect a sharp price drop and bundled games with the WiiU (say $200, $150 would be very aggressive/desperate). --- End quote --- This needs to happen, and is pretty much what I've been waiting for. There is no reason for the Xbox One and Wii U to cost the same amount. |

They've already stated many times that the NX and WiiU aren't going to compete with each other, which would definitely help explain why they're so stubborn with the price of the WiiU. In fact, I wouldn't doubt it if they were entirely complimentary, which would only serve to help the WiiU, not hinder it. |

Its just a PR statement to not piss off the current adopters of their older console. |
