Here's the thing .. I was traveling, I was five months off and when I was traveling I forgot to take my PS3 that is the SLIM model, when I got home, spent 1 week and I called to play, he called normally BUT called low resolution, I got him to 7 years and never gave any trouble, this is the first time ... he just wanted to work with bad resolution, as if no HD cable. I played the HD cable out and bought a new one, put and has the same problem, it does not work in HD only in standard resolution and how I played these seven years with HD cable, without the cable was very ugly image .. A time ran HD, he took in HD over the image began to shake and delete and connect, erase and turn and started making popping sound endlessly, I hung afraid to burn the TV and now I wonder what could to be ? Please someone help me

Thank you, I'm reading the forum here now to see if I can get some MAS answer for now seems to me that his problem is different from mine .. He bought a new monitor and it is not picking up, my PS3 was on the same TV and on the same cable for six years and never gave me any trouble, just now I was five months unalloyed it ... An hour worked HD after d emuitas attempts over the same time began to make noise noise and the screen began to shake and flash, I think is no configuration problem .. BUT I'm reading the topic you gave me, I'm reading each message carefully .. BUT if someone read here that my topic has already had same problem I'm having now please help me! 

That anger, my PS3 has always maintained with the cover not to get dust, I always played it sparingly to not overheat and give problem and now it makes me, so sad that

Have you tried to force reset the resolution settings?

Start with your PS3 turned off. With the PS3 off (showing a solid Red light) if you hold the power button down until you hear two beeps it will force the PS3 to forget any saved video output settings and boot up at a lower resolution. It will then take you through the Optimal Resolution set up.

Yes, I've done it, I researched on YOUTUBE, GOOGLE and several sites and found nothing .. I've reconfigured, already I took the RVC cable and only left the HD, already held the power button to give two beeps, already I changed my TV, I've done everything and always do the same thing .. I was more or less a diagnosis for when I find a store that concerte here in Rio de Janeiro, they do not steal me making a lot of trouble. 

Does the fact that I had been five months unalloyed it may have affected anything? will you burn something?
