I have problem with my Playstation 4 or television and I need help trouble shooting the problem.

With my older TV I can no longer play Playstation 4 as the image does not show.
I could up to few days ago.
It did download patch 1.05 of Lego Avengers just before going blank.
It first started giving increasing amount of static.
First red here and there, then it switched to green here and there.
Finally it started giving raising static from bottom towards the top.
Eventually the static covered the whole screen.
And finally just flickering black.
For little while I could use 1080i and 720P, then only 480P, but in the end nothing.

I did total system reset, but it did not help.

Every other thing I hook in to it still works just fine (PC, WiiU) but not Playstation 4 anymore, I have tried both HDMI ports without luck.

But if I hook the PS4 my new TV it works fine.

I don't have access to another PS4 so I can't check would it work.

So which do you think is at fault the TV or PS4?

I had a similar problem with my Ultra 4K Blu-Ray player. Turns out, it would only work in port 3 of my TV. Everything else worked perfect in the other ports. My guess is that it's your TV.

The thing is it worked fine for almost a year, then stopped working.

Maybe it has to do with HTPC . . HDCP .. (Whatever it is, the HDMI copy protection) output or something. Try turning it off in the settings.

Some people seem to say 'turn the TV off and on again'
