The Wii may not be my favorite system, but GameStop is practically giving this stuff away right now.  Some of these were under a dollar CIB.

With that said, the first party Nintendo titles are still way over priced.  But there are many hidden gems that you can grab for cheap right now.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Nice.  I need a few of those - wish I could pick them up so cheap over here.

Excite truck is a pretty good fun.

Here was my haul from the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee last weekend.  I picked up Q*Bert CIB at the show and had the creator Jeff Lee sign it.  He was there doing a panel and signing autographs.

I picked up three of these switched power supplies.  I'm using them to keep my consoles switched off when not in use.  I may get a few more if I like them.  So far, I'm happy with them.

And here are two of them hooked up for my Nintendo and Sega consoles.

^ Nice set up, how much did it run you?

I have not gotten much lately, though mostly some retro merch:

A Mario Plush that I have been looking for for a long time, $20+$15 Shipping from Poland or something.

$21 Shipped, some kinda beat up Mario Fan Blades:

There was a licensed Mario fan in the 80's, and it just happens that the fan in my room is the same exact fan, just without the Mario decals.

I never use the ceiling fan, so I'm going to swap out the blades every once and a while.

Both are from Etsy.

Thanks.  They were $37 each with shipping through Amazon.  There are other models out there, and at least one was a little cheaper, but I wanted this specific model.

The five boxes on the right are my switch boxes for the A/V cables for all of my non-RF systems.  The top one has 4 HDMI inputs.  The others have 4 sets of composite, s-video, component, analog audio, and digital optical audio.  You can name each input up to 8 characters which is what the center LCD screen on each one is for.  The big amp (bottom left) acts as a switch box for the composite and s-video systems (the switch boxes in the middle) which runs everything to my tube TV.  The top and bottom switch boxes have the HDMI and component systems which run to my primary amp (not seen in the picture) which feeds everything to my HD TV and surround sound system.

I also have an RF switch box with 5 RF inputs (not seen in the picture) for my RF systems which runs straight to my tube TV.

It sounds like a lot, but I can have any system up and running in just a few seconds assuming I have a game and controller ready to go.

love to see a picture of your set up  Wink Roll Eyes

If you mean the front, you can see a somewhat older picture in my collection thread (minus the new power supplies).  If you mean the back........... let's just say it's a jungle back there.  :-X

I was thinking of swapping them out for 'brass' ones, that are currently on my fan.

Red would look good.

I would do the full mile and paint the base as well, then add red LEDs inside it ;)
How complex would it be to make it play a SMB sound when you turn it one?  ;D
