Mini Mario & Friends: Amiibo Challenge

So you get this eshop game for free for 3DS and Wii U in the US if you buy any amiibo at Gamestop, Best Buy or Amazon.com starting March 25th. Has anyone done this? I just bought a Yoshi amiibo from gamestop.com. I heard bestbuy.com emails you the DL code, but I haven't received one from gs yet.

So I guess used amiibo don't work to get download codes. Though I did find out you can get the codes from Target without buying anything.
So I now have an extra set of codes. Anyone interested?
