introducing myself HI

New member who has finally got around to getting A scanner so was looking to upload some of my collection to the site
I collect just about anything gaming related and have around 500 pal uk cases to upload
I have taken a little look at other threads and a few how to guides but not really understand how to do things correctly is there any youtube videos ?
also been unable to find a facebook page which would be useful in this day and age

as for scanning, see if Wiggy or Arseen can give you the "idiots guide" version, there the scanning experts, but as long as you scan at 300dpi minimum, absolutely flat and square with moire removal/descreen on you should be good to go...

whereabouts in the UK are you? (presume uk from UN and "pal cases", )

also, could you post a list of the games your thinking of scanning, some covers may already be available in the forums, might save you a bit of work...
