Hadn't seen this one.  For the unreleased fighting game by Ocean.  If you want to snag the vertical, here it is.  Someone else can make the Horizontal.

Qualitywise pretty good, I only wish you would have stuck with the official template.

Thank you for sharing nevertheless.

Not aware of any "official" templates.  I just used what everyone else has been using.  All the other verticals look like this.  Point me in the right direction!

Yeah, I don't see the difference either. Looks correct to me. The images on the templates page aren't working right now either.

I don't use Photoshop.  I use Paint.net.  I have the plugin for .psd files, but Paint.net says the file is too large to load into memory.

I've grown very familiar with Paint.net.  It's a wonderful program that is more user friendly than Photoshop, in my opinion.

Anyways, enjoy!

Here is Paint.net simplified version I use:

That's just nitpicking if you ask me.  Consider it "my custom version".  If you don't like it, you are welcome to fix it to how you like it.

Thanks for the simplified template.

I can't get the "official templates" to work either.

I know it's nitpicking, sometimes nitpicking results in member wanting to better the cover according to feedback.
Sometimes not...

As for the template: Did you try the one I linked as it's specially made for Paint.net as I too have found that our official ones won't work in Paint.net.

Yes, I downloaded it.  Actually, quite like that.  Will be much easier to make covers with it, so thanks!!  Although, do you have a link with one WITHOUT the Only for Nintendo logo's?  Some games will require that not to be on there.

Only for parts are on their own layer, just disable layer called TOP and they go away.

Get used to it.

It still blows my mind that people care so much about stuff like screenshot placement, exact barcode use (your eyes cannot read barcodes, so what difference does it make?!), and so on when it's just gonna sit on a shelf, and all you'll see 99.9% of the time is the spine.

It's just that we want consistency. :P

And with correct barcode one can scan it when borrowing the game to a friend to log it... ;)
