I recieved a big box copy of a pc game today off of ebay.  It did not include the manual.  The listing stated "Comes with all original inserts." and the condition is listed as "The video game instructions and box are included."  I know condition is pre-generated so I know should be taken with a grain of salt.  But should I have expected to get the manual?

Unless stated by the seller that it is NOT included, then YES.
If you have nothing to do... Don't do it here!

I would say yes, you should have expected to get the manual.  But I would still give the seller a chance to explain himself and offer a resolution before you go leaving negative feedback.  Negative feedback isn't for mistakes.  Everyone makes mistakes.  Negative feedback is for people who don't fix their mistakes.
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Yeah just message him and see what is up. Id even ebay search for the manual, so you know the price point of it in case he just wanted to do a partial refund or something.

Had the same thing happen to me once.  Messaged them to see if the manual was just left out of the box, turns out they were a huge reseller, apologised profusely and sent me another complete copy of the game, and told me to keep the other one.

This. Can't stand it when people freak out because of a little mistake.

ambiguous on really...
that said, item labeled as, is sold as, or hell to pay.
agreed to one above, a line is a good place to end, but the world isn't clean cut boulevard, not cruising ib should-land sadly. :(
bad feedback occurs just because, part and parcel of the trade, why too much human contact depresses me..
just, learn from it, gain a constitution, but if you expect to have a fair chance to rebut your case (shoe on other foot, accidents and that) have cap in hand on approach, show your cards.
all we can do is expect the same fairness, though reality shows us otherwise.
sorry you had a bad do, but above is right to a degree, at least hear em out, weigh it up before you proverbially lynch em and pitchfork them to death.  :P

I contacted him (before I made this thread), he ended up giving me a partial refund.  Now to find a manual of Diablo 1.  I have no idea where the copies I had from when I was a kid went to.
