OK, so I've been looking for some quality software to edit videos with other than Adobe Premiere Pro due to the price tag. So far I've tried out several editors to no avail and figured here may be a good place to find help. Do you guys have any recommendations for good editing software?

I use Premiere CS3, but I also work in a lot of GFX editing ans stuff, how complex of a video do you want to make?

Well, I are you looking for free software or are you willing to spend money? Sony Vegas isn't bad. However, I personally use Final Cut.

Final Cut and Sony Vegas would be my choice if I didn't get PowerDirector 10 for free. It's okay of you can get it cheap, but I wouldn't spend much for it.

I was hoping to get started in making youtube videos, so I'll need something more complex than say, Moviemaker. I know i'll need keyframes and the ability to use images in a video though. Also, I was hoping to not have to spend much, if any, but I'll take what I can get.
