Ok, you have my attention.  How does that work?  Do Prime members have first opportunity, or just cheaper prices?

To my knowledge, just cheaper prices.  It is basically the same thing as the Best Buy Gamer's Unlocked program - 20% off brand new/pre order games.
I don't believe that Prime members get early access, as my wife is the one who pointed out they were available for preorder, and she does not have Prime

But with amazon prime isn't the 20% off only good if it's bought within a couple weeks of the games release?  Unlike best buy I do remember reading that there is a time frame you have to be in to get the discount
Megatron:
Yes, that's what I meant when I said new/preorder.  I realize I probably should have specified.  But yes, the deal is primarily for preorders, and you have 2 weeks.  The Best Buy promo is a far better deal, but for those of us that have Prime already, it's nice to have a backup option for some of the more rare special editions out there, like say the pip boy F4 version.
I was also able to preorder all of the upcoming Nintendo Selects that I want, seeing as Best Buy doesnt have them all up on their site.
Superchop:
@megatron I didn't mean to sound like a jerk correcting you lol, I just didn't want someone to come in and say they got prime because of you for the discount and then not get it on older games and start bad mouthing you.

But yeah, each one has it's own perks, amazon prime is great as it is for practically anything you want to order, and bb is amazing for any new game at any time.

But yeah, plenty of games on the Selects line I'm looking forward too.  I would still prefer the non selects version but meh, money talks and all that jazz lol

No, you're good.  I'm glad you caught that.  Because I, too, would be disappointed if I paid for prime just for that - epsecially since it's a hell of a lot more expensive than the BB Gamers Unlocked
