From what I read, you can connect a FDS to it.  It doesn't have a card slot on its own.  But you will need a certain cable for it.

The FDS connects to the Famicom from the cartridge port. There is a black adapter that plugs n like a cartridge and into the back of the FDS.

I went to Best Buy today to pickup an order I made a few weeks ago, when I stopped by a nearby Goodwill.  Normally this place is a bust, but today it had a surprising amount of awesome!




SMG Devil Survivor 2 and Legend of Legacy were $40 combined from a deal of the day at Best Buy a few weeks ago - my ship to store order finally came in.  

AT the Goodwill they had a whole pile of PS2 and Genesis games (with some other random system games as well).  My guess is somebody recently donated their collection and the store just put these out, as they were still in a plastic bin in the aisle.  My experience with GW is that they usually sell things at a set price, but each of these was marked.  They had a bunch of games, but most of them were very common titles - Socom, Jak, MK2, Sonic, etc.  These were the gems I found:

Drakengard 2 - $5 (Complete, good shape)
Alan Wake Collector's edition - $15 (this is complete and in great shape)
Shining Force II - $3  
Knuckles Chaotix - $3  
Earth Defense Force - $3
Miracle Warriors - $5 (Complete, excellent condition)
Jewel Master - $5 (Complete, ok - good condition)
Fatal Labyrinth - $5 (Complete, excellent condition)
Phantasy Star III - $5 (Complete, excellent condition)

I haven't tested the discs yet, but all the carts work fine, after some initial cleaning

Yeah, no kidding.  Knuckles Chaotix at Goodwill and for only $3.  That is damn awesome.  I had a pretty good streak of luck at GW for about a six month period a little over a year ago, but it has been a complete bust as of late.

Had a B2G1 free deal at GameStop.

Got this for a good deal thanks to the B/S/T thread over on Neogaf.

Came in via Amazon.  I love the 20% off with prime.  Makes me preorder games again.

Gotta support shmups devs.  Now here is to hoping more proper ones come out.

First time owning an Apple devise.  Going to be switching back to Android as soon as I am able to.  Not a fan.

And on a sadder note for me.  The apartment I just moved out of not to long ago had an explosion due to a drug lab.  It was the first place I ever lived on my own.  I would have still been there if they did not raise my rent.  I would have lost everything and would have had to be placed in a hotel.

I used to read those as well.  As a kid, they used to genuinely creep me out.  They used to sell those books at my grade school whenever those book drives came through.  I can't imagine they would allow that today.

I could have warned you about that.  The iPhone was a nice novelty for the first three months since it was my first smart phone  and my prior phone was a flip phone without texting abilities.  But after it wears off, it becomes a headache.  I put up with it for 2 years because I was dumb enough to sign up for a contract.  Never again.  Now I enjoy my Android and I avoided the contract so I can upgrade when I want, if I want.
