I received my Pixelence book this week.  It's not coffee table book, but I think it's worth what they charged for it.

I wanted this, but missed out on it.  :(

What I love about the Twilight Princess set is that the Amiibo is in it's own box!  It's a nice step up after the disappointing Gold Mega Man box.

And I found this at a local Goodwill...the Skyrim Legendary Edition Hardcover guide!  And this is in great condition, looks barely used, and all maps/posters are still inside.  This thing goes for pretty high prices on Amazon and eBay...got it for $4!   ;D

Yep.

But looking at the images... Did the US copy come with music CD like European version did?

From what I understand, only Gamestop preorder versions came with the soundtrack.  I got mine from Best Buy.  So that's a no on my end.

I love zelda games but do they really need to re release zelda twilight princess again? Gamecube, Wii and Wii U. Come on, that's too much of the same game.

That doesn't mean that I won't buy it, I really want to buy it but is just to have it in my collection

If you have the N64 oh please sell it to me!
I only have GameCube, Wii and WiiU version. ;)

The WiiU version is for those who don't have previuos versions or want HQ version.

I wish people would stop complaining about remakes or remastered games. Because a movie was released on VHS doesn't mean it shouldn't be released on DVD, BLU-Ray or digitally. Like movies, people like revisiting games. However, as time goes on, it's difficult to enjoy older games that were intended for 480i. Updates are appreciated. No one is making you buy remakes or remastered games. So please stop complaining.

Yeah, but movies cost about a third of the price, and when they upgrade, they very often add new features. Not to mention the difference between VHS and DVD is like the difference between PS1 and PS3, and you can't wear out a DVD, whereas VHS cassettes start looking pretty rough after just a handful of viewings.

Nintendo re-releases are a no frills affair in my experience.  I haven't popped this one  in yet, but I'm not expecting much after WW and all the 3DS re-releases.

Also, just because "nobody is making us buy" them doesn't mean we can't complain about the weak cash-in that Nintendo has going on with these re-releases.  I'd way rather they spend some time on franchises that haven't received any love in years, such as F-Zero, than "remaster" existing games. I have no problem enjoying games that are only playable in 480i/480p. It's not like they're remastering pong or something. The visual "upgrade" is far from miraculous.

I do have a problem enjoying a game at 480i. These remaster have updated texture, lighting, resolution and frame rates in many cases; hardly a weak cash-in.

I agree with wiggy, there're games that need to be made again like f-zero, but they preferred to re-release the same game 3 consoles in a row. I know it should have better graphics and all that, but I prefer to have for example a bad fur day from N64 to the WiiU, that's a lot of difference in graphics. And not to launch one in N64, re-release on gamecube, re-re-release on Wii, re-re-re-release on WiiU, it feels like they are taking our money with the same game every console they launch, it feels like they are saying "we don't have too much money to spend on a new zelda, re-re-release twilight princess again"

As wiggy say, there're other games that deserves love too.

I would also add that this particular update (Twilight Princess) is a very nice upgrade.  I played the hell out of the Gamecube version (because **** the Wii) and this game plays much smoother.  Transitions are faster, controls feel better, I think combat is more enjoyable - it isn't much, but it's something.  And the Amiibo support is a nice touch.  I haven't tried the new dungeon yet, but at least it's something new.

I prefer these over a rerelease of, say, Deadpool.  Fun game, yes, but there is pretty much NOTHING new added to it, and the graphics aren't even that much of a step up.
Xbox 360 - Xbox One (or the PS equivalent) is less justifiable for me than something from a previous generation.

But hey, with some franchises they could rerelease the game for every system that comes out, I'd still play it.

DVDs often add something new, but not always.  I have a lot of movies on DVD and Blu Ray, and you'd be surprised how often the DVD has more features.
