"Admins" Would it be possible...?

First off I should ask, is Snowcone the only guy that can change anything with the site?

Because... (main statement and question ahead)

It seems to me like there is a bunch of questions that get asked fairly regularly that keeps getting answered over and over and over and let's face it, it get a bit annoying... We all know it does so let's not lie to ourselves.

So, instead of us all getting agrivated with newbies or each other, I think it would be a GREAT idea to have a small section right above the "Recent Forum Threads" on the main page that had a stickies F.A.Q.s and a few other really helpful stickied threads.

That way, anyone coming to the site, will see it.

BLAM, right in their face.

That way, they only have themselves to blame when thy cannot find their already answered question...

Here is a quick PS picture as an example:

There are plenty of helpful topics in guides section but Millenials can't bother to read. ;)
And Cover Admins have very broad abilies, but yes, front page lay-out is Snowcone only.

And why Admins are in quotes?
You think we are not real Admins? >:(

:P

But here is the deal...

The "helpful" topics are kind of hidden and the masses (sadly) want simple and aren't gonna be bothered to look into the forums to seek their answer. Especially since most new people don't really navigate the forums very well.

You also know darn well that I didn't mean that you weren't a true admin.  :D I put Admins in quotes to directly grab any of the admins attention.  ;)

So not to float my own boat, but this IS a good idea that wouldn't take but 10 minutes at most of Snowcone's time to accomplish, so I don't think any nay saying is applicable. Especially since it just an effort to help try to make this a better place.

Also, I added a pic in my first post as an example.

I'll wait and see what other's opinions are. I'd like to hear em.

Arseen:

Yeah not bad idea.

Or atleast I can try cleaning the Guides section on my nightshift tonight if I have time.
