GB/3DS cover scans (I need help deciding on GB/GBC cover methods)

Danno:

On another note, I believe I have some (NTSC) covers I can contribute as I have some original boxes. As a newb, I'm not entirely sure where to look to see if someone has already offered these. Would scans of these boxes be helpful?

-Gameboy-
Yogi Bear's Gold Rush
Lion King
Pocahontas
Little Mermaid
Super Battle Tank

-Gameboy Color-
Better Oracle of Ages cover (the ones on this site look kinda weird)
Hamtaro: Ham Hams Unite
Yu-Gi-Oh! Dark Duel Stories

On quick think:

All are welcome.

300 or 600 DPI, absolutely flat and straight, moire removal on if possible.

Thank you.

Danno:

A lot of those game boxes are barricaded at my parent's house in a drawer, so it might be some time before I can get scans of those. I'll try and post a scan of Little Mermaid and Battle Tank in the near future since I have those with me.

Danno:

Turns out I had more boxes with me than I thought. Can you work with these?

Note: I scanned the front of Star Wars (GB) with 600 DPI resolution. It took forever and kinda seemed like overkill, though, so I scanned the rest with just 300 DPI. Also, I couldn't seem to scan the side of the boxes perfectly straight, but I hope you can work with those.
(PS: I scanned Star Wars since it looks like there's only a custom cover uploaded, not an authentic one)

Arseen:

Scans look very usable.
If your scanner has moire removal option (aka descreen or derasterize) use that, but these are good and can be fixed afterwards without loosing too much detail.

Good that you scanned Star wars @ 600DPI as that is photobased cover and needs the best detail.
Others can be fixed from 300DPI images as well.

On side note: We prefer opened and flattened boxes to eliminate softspots (where the box is not absolutely flat against the scanner bed) but these don't seem to have any anyway.

Thank you.
