Well you wouldn't want to use an actual soldering gun, you will tear some shit up with that thing.

Just go buy a cheap iron and do some practice soldering. Pretty easy to get the hang of.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

My thoughts exactly. I taught myself how to solder from youtube. Takes some practice but its pretty easy to pick up.

Does that cable work well?  I saw it and am thinking about it, but I don't want to spend the money for somehthing half ass.

It works great.  Unfortunately I have no soldering skills or equipment to make my own, though I've read about the process and it would be quite simple for someone with the knowledge.

You actually don't even need to know how to solder. All you need is a wire stripper/crimper and some small clips :)

it generally help to practice all the same, and agreed, using OVERKILL tools will fuck the job up in no short order.
can't say i can solder for shit, rhumatism, bone related.
most jobs are 'easy' but put a fine lattice pcb in front of me to fix, and i back with a off-hand expression 'you taking the piss? you know i can't do kashmir cog pieces, just basic stuff with gaps seen by most naked eyes.  ???
at those pissing about with fine electronics:
if you have expertise here, carry on and ignore.
if you don't, PRACTICE on fucked pcb's first, get the correct tools also.
...and make sure you environment is safe, solder razzes like fuck when it bounces about and lands on exposed flesh.  >:(
stay safe, do prior research, and the rabbit doesn't get boiled by a crazy ex.  :D

I'm starting to understand Amiga pretty well, and his post is spot on!  Practice makes perfect.  Not sure what "rabbit doesn't get boiled" means, but I've been trying to incorporate "swinging my dick" into conversations lately, lol.
I'm bender3455 on playstation network, feel free to add me!

Bunny boiler refers to a famous scene in the film 'fatal attraction'.  Usually used when referring to a crazy/over bearing woman.  Ie:  Michelle is a real bunny boiler.

In this case it's being used slightly out of context, meaning everything doesn't go tits up, or everything doesn't go badly wrong.

Worlds end is terrible.  Starts off good, like you'd expect from Simon pegg, but about half way through descends into a farce.  Was very disappointed.

Finally got around to watching it. Whilst I didn't hate it, I don't love it either...
