Got some goodies today!
1. A reprint of The Legend Of Zelda - A Link to the Past manga from Nintendo power. I already owned the english version, but they just published a very nice 8" hard cover version in french that I could not resist. It's just the perfect format
2. A gold wiimote batery cover. I got it for 3$ on Nintendo store. It's to replace a third party white cover that was on a gold wiimote that I won for the equivalent of $20 US. So for $23, I have a gold wind waker wiimote in perfect condition!
3. Last but not the least, Final Fantasy VIII from Pix N Love edition. Again a french book
This has been sold out for more than a year and sells for 10 times the original price on amazon. I've ordered mine 7 months ago from a small library who didn't even had it in stock. I asked a few time to get refunded since I knew it would never be restocked, but they kept feeding my hope of receiving it by answering that it should eventually arrive since the supplier shows backordered and not discountinued. Guess what, last friday, after a few months without contact, I sent another email asking to be refunded, their reply was "We actually received it today!". So I now have it in my hands and it fills in the empty spot I had between FF VII and FF IX. I also have the FF X book and I'm currently ordering FF VI and XII (they release in random order).
